What You鈥檒l Be Responsible For
- Promoting a strong safety and wellbeing culture across all sites
- Acting as the main point of contact for health, safety and food safety matters
- Working closely with the WSH Risk team to ensure alignment with wider group standards and initiatives
- Supporting managers with practical advice and day-to-day guidance
- Reviewing and improving policies and procedures to keep them clear and easy to follow
- Ensuring all sites meet UK health, safety and food safety requirements
- Leading investigations into incidents, identifying root causes and putting improvements in place
- Conduct regular site visits, offering constructive feedback, identifying emerging risks, and promoting best practice.
- Ensure timely closure of accident, audit and EHO action plans across all locations.
- Supporting sites during audits and Environmental Health visits
- Maintaining effective safety and food safety systems without unnecessary paperwork
- Designing and delivering engaging training for site teams
- Monitoring performance, identifying trends and sharing clear, simple reports with leadership
