Summary:
The Billing Clerk is responsible for accurately processing vehicle deals, maintaining organized records, and supporting the dealership's administrative and accounting functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Bill all new and used car deals and post into accounting.
- Organize all deal paperwork; check for completeness (verify costs and profits, signatures, VIN, etc.).
- Process dealer trades in and out and process finance cancelations.
- Performing schedule reviews and reconciliation throughout the month.
- Work with the F&I department to ensure timely deal processing.
- Process wholesales.
- Route paid deals to the tag and title clerk for processing as soon as money is received in house.
- Provide administrative support to management, other departments and employees as needed.
- Assist with filing and scanning.
