The Group Manager Threat, Risk & Intelligence is responsible for managing the Group-wide threat and intelligence program, and the security risk management system. The position ensures the delivery of timely, accurate, and actionable threat forecasts and geopolitical assessments to operational teams, airline safety/security committees, and executive stakeholders up to Board level. This role contributes to the Groupâs strategic cyber security threat program, but does not sit within cyber security or cyber risk functions.
The Group Manager leads the Group's airspace threat intelligence program, ensuring the safety and security of our international route network through rigorous geopolitical analysis. It translates complex strategic intelligence into actionable products that directly inform executive decision-making, network strategy, and enterprise risk reporting. It also holds accountability for the Group's compliance with the various Government security programs and provides strategic oversight of the Group's Protective Security Program.
This position plays a key role in maintaining high level engagement with Government and security agencies, international aviation forums and private sector intelligence networks. It deputises for the Head of Threat, Risk and Intelligence in executive and government forums.
