As General Manager, you will lead NH Collection Sydney with vision and commercial acumen, driving strong financial performance, operational excellence and exceptional guest experiences. You will build and inspire a high‑performing leadership team, foster trusted stakeholder relationships, and position the hotel as a premier luxury destination in the Sydney market.
- Lead the pre‑opening and brand launch of NH Collection in Australia, including recruitment, systems, service culture, brand activation and go to market readiness.
- Set and deliver a new standard of upscale hospitality experiences through the NH Collection brands launch in Australia.
- Lead strategic plans to maximise profitability and deliver EBITDA targets.
- Champion the hotel externally, building strong relationships with luxury travel partners, media, corporate clients and the broader Sydney market.
- Oversee hotel operations across Rooms and Food & Beverage, ensuring brand and service excellence.
- Maintain full financial accountability, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control and workforce planning.
- Drive continuous improvement across front office, housekeeping, engineering and maintenance.
- Create a strong service culture, develop future leaders, and build a succession pipeline aligned with Minor Hotels’ values and NH Collection service principles.
- Build and develop a customer‑focused leadership team aligned with Minor Hotels and NH Collection values.
- Champion exceptional guest experiences, actively managing feedback, reputation and review scores.
- Build strong relationships with owners, partners, suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, legislation, WHS and brand standards.
- Uphold exceptional standards of property presentation and asset care.
