Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel are looking for an enthusiastic and service-driven Food & Beverage Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.
This role is essential in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient service, and the development of the Food & Beverage team. The successful candidate will predominantly work evening shifts and must be available to work weekends as required.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee and ensure smooth, efficient, and professional daily operations of the restaurant, bar, and conference centre.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the property鈥檚 food and beverage offerings to effectively promote to guests and drive revenue.
- Actively drive revenue through promotions and daily promotional activity, ensuring consistent upselling and engagement from the team.
- Lead the implementation and ongoing execution of the F&B promotional calendar, ensuring alignment with business objectives and seasonal opportunities.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to encourage creativity, innovation, and the development of new menu ideas and offerings.
- Oversee the coordination and execution of conference and events, ensuring all client requirements are delivered to a high standard.
- Monitor conference and event service delivery, ensuring operational efficiency, attention to detail, and exceptional guest experience.
- Identify opportunities to maximise conference and events revenue through upselling, tailored packages, and service enhancements.
- Supervise, coach, and train Food & Beverage Attendants, fostering a high-performing, motivated team culture.
- Manage staff rostering, workflow, and service standards to ensure operational efficiency and cost control across all F&B outlets and conference operations.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with RSA, hygiene, and workplace health & safety standards.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and reporting as required.
- Drive guest satisfaction, service excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
