What You’ll Be Doing
As Sales & Retention Manager, you will lead the club’s commercial performance — driving new member acquisition, strengthening retention and building a high-energy sales culture within the team.
- Own and embed the FUNDAMENTALS sales process, coaching and developing the team to consistently perform at their best.
- Drive new member sales while implementing proactive retention strategies to grow and protect the live member movement.
- Take full ownership of the club activity planner, ensuring campaigns and initiatives are strategically planned, executed and results-focused.
- Develop creative internal and external lead-generation strategies, building strong local partnerships and expanding #WeMoveBusinesses opportunities.
- Monitor dashboards and KPIs daily, using data to drive performance conversations and corrective action where needed.
- Maximise all revenue streams including memberships, retail products and secondary spend to deliver strong club profitability.
- Prepare and present monthly sales updates to the wider management team, clearly outlining performance, risks and opportunities.
- Lead by example across reception and the gym floor in this highly visible, member-facing role.
- Support national initiatives including #WorkoutWednesday and #WeCommunicate to drive engagement and brand alignment.
- Provide structured, honest feedback to team members, supporting development and performance improvement.
- Partner closely with the General Manager to support operational standards, including H&S, facilities, recruitment and overall club presentation.
