ABOUT THE JOB
In this position, you will be cross trained in multiple roles/functions within the Company鈥檚 Warehousing Departments and will be expected to perform intermediate functions within those areas. This role will support both the physical and systematic sides of the warehouse environment. Not only will you pick, pull, and store materials, you will be responsible for issuing materials, relieving inventory, and planning warehouse priorities based on the production schedule and inventory on hand.
YOUR ROLE:
- Receive products upon delivery, ensuring proper documentation has been completed
- Store received items in proper inventory location and/or deliver to appropriate team members
- Pull inventory according to the production schedule or as requested from the production team
- Support material flow from and to the assigned area(s)
- Complete all computer/systemic transactions including all rework and bin transfers
- Complete quality inspections of incoming inventory
- Assist with storing of Company Property
- Communicate inventory levels to affected teams in order to maintain departmental organization
- Oversee Associates from other departments during the cycle/physical count process
- Help to oversee Associates that are rotating into and out of the department in supporting roles
- Complete inventory audits as assigned
- Support continuous improvement initiatives around Safety, Quality, and Productivity and lead by example
- Help to enforce company safety policies and procedures
- Assist Department Leadership with new associate training and team member skill training
- Assist Department Leadership with ensuring shift production paperwork is accurately completed, as requested
- Other duties as assigned
