This is a full time, permanent position.
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 40hrs per week.
As a Process Science Equipment Analyst you will support the Process Science (PS) departments by maintaining their laboratory instrumentation in an operational, qualified state. This entails ensuring both instrument hardware and software qualifications are completed in a timely manner and keeping them in a qualified state.
Job Responsibilities
- Creation of equipment assets on Equipment management software.
- Create calibration and maintenance schedules on Equipment management software.
- Completion of preventative maintenance activities as required.
- Carry out calibrations on Lab equipment as required.
- Shipping of calibration standards to offsite vendor for maintenance and / or calibration.
- Daily Temperature monitoring of CTUâs.
- Creation of System Impact assessment documents.
- Maintain a clear understanding of all related customer supplemented processes.
- Adhering to all customer standards in areas of safety, housekeeping and quality.
- Participating in all training required and scheduled by the Eurofins Leader or the customer.
- Provide training to other team members as instructed by the Eurofins Leader.
- Assisting in the development, coaching, motivation, and morale of team members through effective teambuilding and use of reward and recognitions systems celebrating team success.
- Keeping up to date with any technological or method revisions in their area.
- Ensuring at all times that all documentation and laboratory records are up to date, on time, and of an appropriate standard.
- Produce and maintain accurate and GMP compliant records.
- Lead / assist in troubleshooting instrument performance issues.
- Work with and supervise Equipment vendor to schedule and complete necessary tasks.
- Participate in team meetingâs and giving updates to rest of team as necessary.
- Participating in customer meetings and providing information and input as required.
- Communicate regularly with the customer and the PSS Group Leader/Lancaster Laboratories to ensure information is shared effectively and actions are taken immediately.
- Be constantly aware of customersâ requirements and striving to meet or exceed those requirements keeping in mind the customer process end points.
- Dealing with customer queries and to contact designated personnel with any relevant information or issues relating to test results or service in general.
- Identifying any opportunities for improvement of quality and service and work with the team to implement continuous improvement
- Being the SME (Subject Matter Expert) person in their area in terms of queries, information, and general systems information.
- Review and improve commercial work practices.
- Assist the Eurofins Leader in forward planning of activities, in terms of routine activities and also activities for the professional development of other junior team members.
- To deputise for the Group Leader as required.
