LC MSMS Chemist in PFAS Analysis
Full-time, Permanent Positions – Dandenong South, VIC

📅 Monday – Friday | 2 pm -10 pm or 12 pm – 8 pm
💰 Additional 1.5% superannuation paid on top of the national standard super rate
Reporting to the Section Supervisor, the instrument Chemist will be responsible for the operation of particular analytical instruments and for the production of acceptable results with verified QC protocols.
Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:
- Performing routine analytical, physical tests and sample preparation as required.
- Controlling own workflow.
- Ensuring samples are tested in a timely manner, completed, and integrity of results are maintained.
- Ensuring correct methods are used and adhered to.
- Ensuring working solutions of chemicals are prepared and maintained at appropriate quantities and qualities.
- Calibrating and maintaining instruments and ensuring maintenance logs are kept up to date.
- Preparing QC samples, CRMs standards and any other QC as required.
- Monitoring, encouraging and supporting laboratory technicians as required.
