Plans, organizes and directs comprehensive recreation programs within the Job Corps Program
Develops and promotes recreational programs which meet the needs of all trainees - Schedules of activities in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner
Extends partnerships to other recreational providers in the community
Oversees the staffing patterns and development of all staff within department
Submits Calendar of Events for review on a monthly basis. Due to the Director of Social Development by the 15th of each month
Meets with new students during first week of Stay and monitors trainee participation in various activities based on spending limits
Ensures activity costs and trainee participation logs are reconciled with Accounting Department - Maintains stock of trainee Uniforms and various other athletic garments
Schedules a variety of recreational programs which encourages maximum trainee participation leading to positive social behaviors
