We are seeking a Lead Structural Engineer. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a leadership position, overseeing structural engineering efforts across a wide range of project types and complexities. You鈥檒l be responsible for managing discipline-specific budgets, guiding engineering teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality structural solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership:
Lead the structural discipline on projects of varying size and complexity, from concept through construction. Manage discipline-specific budgets and ensure alignment with project goals and client expectations.
Team Management & Mentorship:
Direct and support a team of engineers and designers (Entry-Level to Senior), overseeing workflows, task execution, and professional development.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination:
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and external partners. Coordinate with internal disciplines to ensure seamless project integration.
Technical Oversight:
Construction Support:
Provide advanced support during construction phases, including RFI responses, submittal reviews, punch list development, and progress reporting.
Project Planning:
Collaborate with Project Managers on proposals, man-hour estimates, and scheduling for the structural scope of work.
Design Leadership:
Lead system design programming and master planning efforts. Guide the execution of advanced structural designs and ensure technical excellence.
