CRB is seeking a highly skilled and licensed Architect IV to lead architectural design efforts for complex Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, and Biotech projects. This individual will play a key leadership role in the planning and execution of GMP-compliant facilities, with a strong focus on cleanroom design, personnel/material flows, and adjacency planning. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of regulatory and operational requirements in the life sciences sector.
Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural design for life sciences projects, including conceptual planning, schematic design, and construction documentation.
- Generate complex code analyses, life safety and egress plans, floor plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules and specifications for large projects of advanced complexity with no oversight.
- Develop and coordinate cleanroom layouts, GMP spaces, and critical adjacencies to optimize personnel and material flows.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including process engineers, MEP, and construction professionals.
- Serve as the primary architectural liaison with clients, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior architects and contribute to the development of architectural standards and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with International building codes, Florida building codes, GMP regulations, and industry standards.
- Participate in client presentations, design reviews, and project coordination meetings.
