Rides with a company driver delivering products along assigned routes each day. Make between 12 and 15 stops/deliveries per day
Unloads customer product orders by shipping paperwork
Assists driver in paperwork and customer inquiries
Worker may assist in other Shipping positions if properly trained
Continuously performs quality control tasks, visually inspects cartons, PVC, and glass for imperfections, and places rejects in the specified area per training
Ability to visually perceive scratches, irregularities, or other imperfections in materials
Comprehension, per training, of written instructions, measurements, or coding spelled out on shipping paperwork/tags
The ability to accurately complete the essential functions of this job on a continual basis in a dynamic environment
Ability to read, write, and speak simple English. Must be able to read production tags, shipping paperwork, safety warning labels, and signs; must be able to verbally communicate with coworkers, leads, and supervisor regarding the delivery process and safety-related information
