Engineering Manager, Gameplay

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for an Engineering Manager to join the team working on The Witcher 4. In this role, you'll lead a gameplay engineering team focused on delivering cutting-edge systems in animation, locomotion, and camera. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, animators, and QA to ensure top-quality gameplay experiences. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the next chapter of one of the most beloved RPG series in the world. We’re looking for someone with strong technical expertise, leadership experience, and a deep passion for games.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a gameplay engineering team.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and cross-functional departments.
• Foster growth within the development team and nurture technical talent.
• Develop and maintain core gameplay features (locomotion, animation, camera systems).
• Optimize and debug gameplay systems in collaboration with QA.
• Ensure alignment across teams (designers, animators, QA, etc.) to deliver cohesive experiences.
