AECOM Canada is a Centre of Excellence for the delivery of P3 projects in North America and is participating in every major P3 project in Canada, either as the Owner Engineer or as the Contractor鈥檚 Engineer. We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team and take on a central role in the delivery of a major transportation projects in Western Canada during Engineering Services During Construction Phase (ESDC) of the project.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Supporting the Project Manager and other senior staff to deliver projects to budget, schedule and to AECOM鈥檚 quality standards.
Independently manage the delivery of a subset of varied project activities.
Lead and coordinate project team activities and work effectively with Clients, Contractors, Engineers, Project Managers, and other consultants.
Coordinate design team field presence requirements to fulfill professional obligations.
Coordinate timely responses to RFIs, NCRs, Site Instructions, and other construction-related queries.
Coordinate with design teams and sub-consultants to resolve construction-phase technical issues.
Work with project teams to execute the established project work processes for ESDC components such as RFIs, construction document submittals, record drawings, and construction certificates.
Provide clear guidance to designers and technical staff to meet client objectives.
Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing with the project team and clients
