The listed pay range or pay rate reflects compensationĀ for aĀ full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE)Ā position. Actual compensation may differ depending on assigned hours and position status (e.g., part-time).
Pay Range:
$23.09 - $30.01Position Overview
Education: Bachelor's degree in creative arts, recreation therapy, and/or allied therapy. Art Therapist specialty requires Master's degree in Arts Therapy and licensed in Arts Therapy. Must have a MT-BC Certification.
Experience: One-year previous experience in behavioral health sciences.
Other Credentials: AHA BLS. Non-Licensed must obtain before end of orientation period
Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on assigned unit. Demonstrates compassion and effective communication skills. Ability to provide care appropriate to the population served.
Special Training: Stays current on therapy technology related to area; maintains certification/licensure.
Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities: Ability to work independently; schedules time efficiently; thinks pro-actively.
