As a Process Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing and optimizing manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor manufacturing technologies. You will collect and analyze data, perform hardware characterization, and troubleshoot engineering issues. You'll also measure film properties, generate technical documentation, and engage with customers to resolve concerns. As a Process Engineer,you'llplay a critical role in solving our customersâ biggest challenges by designing andoptimizingdisplay andsemiconductor manufacturing processes. You will work on some of the most advanced and challenging technologies in the world, shaping the way process engineering evolves for our business and the semiconductor industry.Process Engineers at Applied enjoya diverseand exciting work experienceâno two days are thesameand the challenges are complex and interesting. You willexperiment, learn, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the semiconductorand displayindustries, partnering with our globally recognized R&D teams onstate-of-the-artresearch and development projects.Â
Role Responsibilities:Â
Design, collect data, analyze, and compile reports ondifficultprocessengineering experiments
Perform hardware characterization ona variety ofdifficultsystems
Troubleshootcomplexproblems, perform Root Cause Analysis, and resolvea variety ofdifficultprocessengineering issues
Measure film properties andinterpret data
Generate internal documentation for products, presentations, and technical reports
Communicate and engagewith customers to resolvecomplexprocess engineering issuesor concerns,underlimitedsupervision
Identify, select, and partnerwith vendorsand suppliers
Implementnew technology, products, and analytical instrumentation
Serve as a resource for junior colleagues; leadprojectteams,as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelorâs degree in a related field
4-7yearsof related experienceâŻâŻ
Demonstratesconceptual and practicalexpertisein complex problem solving
