As a General Assistant you will…
- Assist with the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner in line with established menus and recipes.
- Support the kitchen team by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times, including general food preparation tasks.
- Picking up and checking deliveries.
- Help to facility team with room setups.
- Carry out washing-up duties in the main kitchen during busy periods.
- Keep front-of-house areas clean and organised, including managing dishes and utensils.
- Follow correct food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
- Maintain tea points around the building (restocking supplies and washing up as needed).
- Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
- Training will be provided. However, a positive attitude, a genuine smile, a commitment to exceeding customer expectations, and being a great team player are essential.
