Visa is seeking a Product Manager, Strategy & Analytics to own the portfolio鈥憀evel strategy and performance of its Virtual Card products. This role is accountable for defining where the virtual card business should invest, how it should grow, and which opportunities will deliver the greatest impact for clients and Visa.
The role sits at the intersection of product strategy, commercial decision鈥憁aking, and analytics. The product manager will use market insight, transaction data, and customer behavior to shape long鈥憈erm strategy, guide prioritization and investment decisions, and influence go鈥憈o鈥憁arket direction across the virtual card portfolio.
Success in this role requires the ability to frame complex business questions, translate analysis into clear recommendations, and drive alignment with senior leaders across Product, Sales, Finance, and Marketing. This product manager will play a central role in setting strategic direction, measuring performance, and ensuring Visa鈥檚 virtual card offerings scale, differentiate, and deliver measurable value.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Strategy & Execution:
- Own the portfolio level strategy for Visa鈥檚 Virtual Card products, including where to invest, how to grow, and which opportunities deliver the greatest client and business impact. Partner closely with key stakeholders to help inform this strategy.
- Lead long range strategic planning, annual planning, and quarterly prioritization cycles, providing clear recommendations to senior leadership.
- Identify new growth opportunities through market analysis, customer insights, competitive analysis, and performance data, covering existing and emerging use cases.
- Define clear product goals, success metrics (OKRs/KPIs), and investment rationale for initiatives.
- Structure and solve complex business problems, delivering clear and actionable recommendations.
- Identify emerging technologies and business models for potential partnerships or investments.
Business Intelligence, Insights & Reporting:
- Own portfolio performance management, with end鈥憈o鈥慹nd visibility into volume, activation, usage, revenue, and acceptance.
- Partner with analytics and data science teams to define dashboards, conduct deep鈥慸ive analyses, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Forecast virtual card payment volume and monitor industry and internal performance trends to continuously refine strategy.
Go-to-Market & Commercial Alignment:
- Influence go鈥憈o鈥憁arket strategy by partnering with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure strategic priorities are reflected in offers, positioning, and execution.
- Support client and partner鈥慺acing strategy through executive鈥憀evel materials, business cases, and sales enablement content.
- Evaluate pricing strategies and business cases in partnership with finance and operations to ensure returns align with strategic objectives.
- Work with the marketing team to develop client facing sales decks specific to the group鈥檚 strategy and industry outlook.
Communication & Cross-Functional Influence:
- Prepare and deliver executive鈥憀evel materials, including strategy decks, business cases, performance updates, and decision frameworks.
- Drive alignment across a highly matrixed, global organization by leading strategy discussions, executive reviews, KPI measurements, and decision forums.
- Mentor product managers and contribute to the development of modern product strategy and analytics best practices.
- Represent the product organization in cross functional and partner facing forums.
- Partner with finance and operations to evaluate business cases, pricing strategies, and ROI.
