Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the design, build, deployment, and scaling of Generative AIābased agents for external clients, primarily banks and merchants. This role sits at the intersection of hands-on GenAI engineering, client-facing consulting delivery, and organizational leadership.
The role serves as the technical authority for AI agent development within VCA in the Central America and Caribbean region, with ownership of the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of client-facing GenAI solutions, from use case definition and proof of concept through production deployment and postāgo-live optimization. The position is cloud-agnostic, with emphasis on deploying solutions into client or Visa-approved cloud environments.
The ideal candidate is highly technical and pragmatic, capable of writing production-grade agent code, leading blended teams of FTEs and third-party contractors, and translating complex AI capabilities into secure, scalable, and high-value solutions for Visa clients.
Key Responsibilities
GenAI Agent Architecture and Hands-On Development
Act as the principal technical contributor for GenAI agent development within VCA.
Design, build, and maintain LLM-powered agents, including prompt orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, tool use, and multi-agent workflows.
Write, review, and approve production code, defining coding standards, testing strategies, and evaluation frameworks.
Select and integrate third-party tools, APIs, and GenAI frameworks while balancing scalability, security, and client constraints.
Ensure compliance with responsible AI, security, privacy, and data protection standards aligned with Visa policies.
Client-Facing Solution Delivery
Own the end-to-end delivery of GenAI agent solutions for external clients.
Partner with banks, merchants, and internal VCA consulting teams to understand workflows, constraints, and success metrics.
Design and deploy solutions integrated with client systems and data sources.
Ensure solutions are production-ready, including monitoring, logging, fallback mechanisms, and operational documentation.
Team Leadership and Delivery Management
Lead and scale delivery teams composed of FTEs and third-party contractors.
Provide hands-on mentorship, code reviews, and architectural guidance.
Define delivery rituals, milestones, and quality gates across engagements.
Make build-versus-buy and internal-versus-external resourcing decisions aligned with VCA priorities.
Strategy, Adoption, and Scaling
Own a prioritized roadmap of GenAI agent capabilities aligned with commercial priorities.
Standardize and scale high-impact agent use cases across clients and regions.
Act as a senior advisor to VCA leadership and client stakeholders on GenAI strategy, adoption, and trade-offs.

Multiple client-facing GenAI agents successfully deployed and adopted.
A clearly defined and executed GenAI delivery playbook used across VCA.
