The Marketing Director of Strategic Initiatives and Operations is primarily responsible for ensuring cross functional integration for the consumer product marketing portfolio. Deep partnership and coordination will be with the affluent product and benefits team, cross border business units, and ecommerce product group. The role will help establish a unified B2B2C marketing engine, enabling consistent premium offerings, with coordinated travel corridor and consumer journey strategies that drive outsized growth for the company.
This Marketing Leader and her/his team will work with executives, key global business stakeholders and regional brand teams to successfully bring to life â and evolve over time â the consumer product propositions for Visa.
The position reports to the Vice President, Global Brand Marketing â Consumer Products and will be based in Visaâs San Francisco, California office.
Responsibilities:
- Set annual and multi-year marketing plans and business case for multi-year investments, across function to support capital allocations for the Office of CMO as well as Product and cross border business units.
- Lead operational strategy to form 'central hub' for Global Product and Global Business units to orchestrate marketing functional responses across B2C, B2B, sponsorships, and marketing services teams.
- Operate as Visaâs single point of ownership for premium product marketing, e-commerce marketing, and travelâled growth marketing, unifying strategy, execution, measurement, and partner enablement across Global Product, the CrossâBorder Business Unit, Global Marketing, and Regions.
- Drive crossâfunctional coordination (QBRs, operating model, resourcing, communications, OKR setting and cadence) with the Affluent Product and Benefits Team, Cross Border Business Unit, and E-commerce product teams, whom Global Brand - Consumer Products are accountable to.
- Operate Executive Steering Committees to ensure transparency, pacing, resourcing and expectations are met for enterprise.
- Partner with Insights and Analytics to establish, track, and readout KPI and Measurement Progress with business unit groups.
- Support cross-initiative planning, product launch sequencing and integration of seasonality travel calendar with benefits amplification of Infinite proposition.
- Integrate A.I. across the team activities, drive innovation pilots that bridge the marketing portfolio under Consumer Products, and lead special projects as determined by the VP of Brand Marketing - Consumer Products.
