Issuing Solutions is a high-growth, multi-billion-dollar business unit within Visa鈥檚 Value-Added Services (VAS) organization. Our group is responsible for building and commercializing products that improve issuing bank processing and cardholder experiences.
As Senior Manager within the EU Consumer Engagement team, you will be responsible for shaping, evolving and commercializing Tink鈥檚 regulated Open Banking capabilities (AIS and PIS) for issuing banks across Europe. The role sits at the intersection of product strategy, commercialization and go鈥憈o鈥憁arket execution, with a clear mandate to accelerate issuer adoption, unlock new revenue streams, and position Tink as Visa鈥檚 Open Banking solution for Visa鈥檚 issuing clients.
The role will also provide opportunity to meaningfully shape the strategic and commercial evolution of Visa鈥檚 Consumer Engagement vertical, with scope to contribute to the development of new sub-vertical initiatives (e.g. loyalty SaaS offerings).
This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Consumer Engagement, Europe. Responsibilities include:
Strategy & Portfolio Development:
- Define, own, and continuously evolve the issuer鈥慺acing Open Banking strategy, with accountability across both AIS and PIS solutions.
- Translate strategic priorities into scalable issuer use case propositions, evaluating how Open Banking can enable innovation across lending journeys (underwriting and credit risk assessment) and evolving A2A payment value propositions in partnership with Product, Sales, and Sales Engineering.
- Identify, size, and prioritize new growth levers, including issuer segments, adjacent use cases, and market expansion opportunities, supported by clear commercial rationale.
- Lead business case development, including TAM sizing, investment rationale, and build vs. partner assessments to support roadmap and funding decisions.
- Act as a subject鈥憁atter expert on Open Banking trends, regulation and competitive dynamics, translating market developments into actionable strategy
鈥婥ommercialization & GTM:
- Own the end鈥憈o鈥慹nd GTM strategy for Open Banking issuer solutions in Europe, from value proposition and pricing through to sales enablement initiatives.
- Develop defensible commercial frameworks (pricing, packaging, and contracting models) that are aligned to issuer value creation and sustainable revenue growth.
- Support priority issuer deals as the Open Banking solutions lead, shaping proposals, articulating ROI, and tailoring propositions to issuer needs.
- Develop compelling issuer narratives that position Tink鈥檚 AIS/PIS capabilities as integral components of Visa鈥檚 broader Issuing Solutions and Consumer Engagement stack.
Cross鈥慥isa & Ecosystem Collaboration:
- Work closely with Visa Issuing Solutions and broader VAS teams to ensure Open Banking capabilities are effectively integrated into wider client propositions.
- Contribute to the development of a cohesive Consumer Engagement narrative, ensuring Open Banking is positioned as a strategic enabler rather than a standalone capability.
- Collaborate with ecosystem partners and third parties where appropriate to accelerate time鈥憈o鈥憁arket and enhance issuer value.
