As a Senior Linux Systems Engineer, you will:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, deployment, network, enterprise architecture, and IT security) on infrastructure and application projects.
- Design and implement Linux-based platforms and containerized environments following DevOps practices.
- Evaluate and introduce new compute and storage solutions to improve infrastructure performance and scalability.
- Perform system operations, including installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Linux environments.
- Manage incidents and problems through fault analysis, diagnosis, and resolution, and maintain operational procedures.
- Oversee change and configuration management, including assessment, scheduling, implementation, and review of system changes.
- Design and implement operational management systems and tools (e.g., CMDB, knowledge systems), including proof of concept, testing, and deployment.
- Monitor operational performance through metrics, support capacity and migration planning, and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.
