As an Application Support Consultant you will:
- Provide Level 2/3 application support for card transaction processing systems, including incident investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution.
- Monitor application health, transaction throughput, and system performance using observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack); define and track operational metrics such as transaction success rates, batch completion times, and error rates.
- Configure and maintain alerting rules and dashboards to enable proactive issue detection.
- Develop and maintain Shell and Perl scripts for operational automation, including log parsing, health checks, batch scheduling, data extraction, and SQL scripts for data investigation and reconciliation on Oracle databases.
- Manage and troubleshoot batch processing jobs, end-of-day settlement routines, and transaction posting procedures.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and validation of application releases across environments.
- Coordinate with vendors and infrastructure teams during production incidents and develop runbooks, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides to support operational excellence.
- Gather feedback from client operations teams to inform application enhancements and continuous improvement.
