We are currently looking to hire a Civil Engineer with remarkable experience in tunnel industry, to join our supportive and highly skilled team. The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of projects. Our clients work for private and public sector and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering water designs for many years, throughout the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand among others. We are looking to hire a motivated and enthusiastic Civil Engineer to join our Ground Engineering & Tunnelling team. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior engineer who is eager to develop their skills while contributing to technically challenging underground and large‑scale infrastructure projects

You will contribute in the design and analysis of underground structures such as tunnels, caverns, deep excavations, shafts and cut‑and‑cover structures, playing an important role in multidisciplinary project teams

Key Responsibilities

• Design primary support for NATM tunnel, SEM tunnels and TBM tunnels
• Assess TBM requirements
• Design underground structures including tunnel and cavern linings, precast concrete tunnel linings (TBM), and cut‑and‑cover structures.
• Contribute to the design of SOE (Support of Excavation) systems for shafts, portals, stations, and deep excavations.
• Apply ground-structure interaction analysis software to support advanced underground designs.
• Prepare and support the development of design reports, technical specifications, drawing packages, and contract documents.
• Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines, external partners and clients to support efficient and successful project delivery.
