This position reports to theAM Zone LeaderSouth&CentralEMEAand is part of theGenomic Medicineand willbeworking remotely to coverSpain and Portugal.
What you will do:
RepresentCytivaand act as a primary customer point of contact in allallocatedaccounts and in the territory for specific Genomic Medicine segment.
Expand the business, gain market share, and grow sales & order at expected margins. Achieve annual/quarterly targets through successful promotion of all business technologies and capabilities within all modalities which are relevant to this account.
Provide technical support,leveragingtechnical specialists where needed, aligned with customer workflows and activities to develop, and support solutions that meet or exceed the customers’ expectations.
Identifyopportunities and supportteamin developing opportunities.
Develop andmaintaina full understanding of theCytivavalue proposition and a high-level knowledge of competitive products and services.
Prospecting, forecasting, generating proposals, preparing sales quotations,initiating, and planning customer visits at all levels of the customer organization.
Negotiating master agreements and contracts, including terms and conditions as well asfacilitatingtender responses to customers from the account, in conjunction with product sales specialists as needed.
Accountable for overall account success, and growth, leveragingCytivacustomer account team.
Who you are:
Education:bachelordegree in life scienceorbiotech
3-5 years of commercial experience in life science
Fluent inEnglish
Expert inSalestechniqueincluding cross selling, upselling, value positions, solutionsellingand funnel management.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
Ability to travel –minimum50% travel, overnight, within territory or locations
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
It would be a plus if you alsopossesspreviousexperience in:
Sales Force
Territories sales planning
