As Customer Care and Sales Advisor I, youāll be the supportive voice and solutions partner for our customers. Whether assisting with billing questions, scheduling service, or guiding product changes, youāll build trust by listening empathetically and responding clearly. As you grow in the role, youāll handle more complex situationsāresolving issues, retaining customers considering disconnecting, and matching their needs with the right products and services. This position blends service and sales skills, focusing on caring for customers, protecting relationships, and demonstrating the value of staying with Sparklight. This role will operate between offices, located in Bryant and Maumelle.Ā

Key ResponsibilitiesĀ
⢠Learn and apply Retention Sales and Customer Care concepts, procedures, and methodologies.Ā
⢠Perform entry-level sales and support tasks within a designated region or business area.Ā
⢠Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone or ticketing systems, providing personalized and thoughtful communication.Ā
⢠Actively listen and ask questions to understand customer needs, showing empathy and respect.Ā
⢠Handle a variety of customer-facing duties, including:Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā Addressing requests to disconnect or remove servicesĀ
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā Providing billing and pricing informationĀ
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā Resolving standard issues remotely or educating customers on resolution stepsĀ
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā Scheduling service appointments when remote resolution isnāt possibleĀ
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā Arranging product returns or exchangesĀ
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā Managing add/change/delete requests in hosted platformsĀ
⢠Use effective telephone-based selling skills to:Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā Build rapport and identify customer issuesĀ
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā Offer creative solutions and explain product/service benefitsĀ
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā Negotiate household spend and upsell additional servicesĀ
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā Accurately and efficiently input ordersĀ
⢠Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales activity goals.Ā
⢠Follow company-approved scripts to ensure consistent communication.Ā
⢠Assist with special projects as assigned.Ā

QualificationsĀ
⢠High School Diploma or GEDĀ
⢠Ability to ask fact-finding questions to identify solutions aligned with customer needsĀ
⢠Demonstrated patience and professionalism in all customer interactionsĀ
⢠Working knowledge of Cable One products and servicesĀ
⢠Strong communication and active listening skillsĀ
⢠Ability to remain composed and empathetic in high-pressure situationsĀ
⢠Ability to sit for extended periods, use hands, talk, and hearĀ
⢠May be required to lift up to 10 poundsĀ

Pay Rate:āÆĀ
⢠Hourly rate of $14.25āÆ- $16.00.āÆWe offer an hourly wage based on experience, with a focus onāÆprovidingāÆgrowth opportunities for both entry-level candidates and those with more experience.āÆĀ
