As Sales Director, the successful candidate will take on the following key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a unified commercial and sales strategy that drives market growth, customer acquisition, revenue expansion, targeting key accounts, high potential clients, and emerging business opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals; set performance goals, coach technical selling skills, and foster a high-performance culture.
- Define annual budget targets, forecast revenue, and ensure continuous achievement of sales goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers, including major food manufacturers, feed producers, retailers, and distributors.
- Drive pricing strategy, margin optimization, and commercial policy governance in collaboration with operations and finance.
- Conduct senior level presentations, negotiate long term contracts, and provide tailored testing solutions aligned with client needs.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to proactively adjust market and sales strategies.
- Identify emerging opportunities within Food & Feed, as well as adjacent markets.
- Represent Eurofins in industry events, conferences, and professional associations to strengthen brand presence and thought leadership.
- Partner closely with laboratory operations, customer service, and technical teams to ensure service excellence and aligned commercial execution.
- Support Eurofins’ initiatives for quality, sustainability, and digital transformation (e.g., eLIMS adoption).
- Track KPIs using CRM tools; prepare commercial performance reports for senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with Eurofins’ ethical standards, quality expectations, and industry regulations.
- Contribute to the development of national and regional key account programs within Eurofins.
