The Presales Business Architect - Value Engineering will work with customers, prospects and the wider IFS organization to articulate and position the customer value and benefit that can be achieved through investments in IFS Solutions. This role is a critical in the IFS UK&I Sales organization, supporting tailored customer value-proposition conversations, driving the development of customer business cases, and presenting value findings to senior stakeholders, including C-Level executives โ both internally and externally.
We are seeking a highly experienced individual contributor who will operate as a key extension of the UK&I Sales Team. This role reports into the Presales Director, Europe West with a dotted line to Global Head of Business Value Engineering. The role includes coaching and supporting colleagues (including Partners) and contributing to strategic IFS corporate initiatives and Transformational programmes โ for example, helping build and roll out of the IFS BVE community across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engagements with senior stakeholders to develop internal business cases, identify business challenges, and design holistic solutions that address both IFS and wider business needs.
- Participate in strategic presales engagements and workshops with customers and prospects; lead and coach the creation of proposals aligned to customer requirements, collaborating with colleagues as needed.
- Demonstrate strong self-motivation and the ability to understand and interpret complex business problems, identify appropriate IFS technology offerings in partnership with Sales.
- Assess the broader customer architecture to identify additional value opportunities through the extended IFS solutions.
- Create compelling value propositions rooted in IFS products and clearly articulate business value to customers and prospects.
- Use financial modelling and business-case terminology effectively in interactions with internal stakeholders, clients, prospects and partners.
- Develop an external profile as a thought leader and trusted advisor by contributing to customer-facing events, showcasing business value aligned to IFS strategy.
- Build phased customer journeys through consultative dialogue, aligning diverse stakeholder needs into a coherent strategic roadmap.
- Maintain strong knowledge of relevant IFS products and services, including roadmaps, with occasional liaison with Product Management.
- Apply strong discovery and questioning skills to understand customer requirements and translate them into a business case or preliminary value assessments.
- Consistently communicate business value in a clear, structured and customer focused way.
