These roles will play an important part in strengthening our design leadership capability across the Brisbane region, supporting the delivery of complex transport projects and helping shape the future of infrastructure across South East Queensland.
How you’ll make a difference
- Lead the delivery of complex transport and highways design projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes through detailed design phases.
- Act as Design Manager across multiple projects or programmes, owning design governance, technical delivery, programme and risk management.
- Manage packages of work end-to-end, coordinating multidisciplinary teams across ANZ to deliver complex infrastructure projects.
- Serve as a trusted client advisor, building strong relationships with key stakeholders including TMR, local councils, utilities and developers.
- Provide technical leadership and design assurance, setting standards, leading gate reviews and acting as verifier on major projects.
- Support project recovery, independent technical reviews and complex problem solving where required.
- Contribute to mentoring senior and principal engineers, strengthening AECOM’s transport design capability and supporting strategic bids and project pursuits.
