Position Overview
The Senior Site Engineer – Structural (Airports) will be responsible for supervising structural construction activities at airport infrastructure projects. The role involves ensuring that structural works such as foundations, concrete structures, steel structures, and terminal building components are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, safety standards, and construction schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Structural Construction Supervision
- Supervise construction of structural elements including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, retaining walls, and steel structures.
- Ensure all structural works are executed as per approved structural drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with project timelines.
- Quality Assurance & Inspections
- Conduct regular inspections of reinforcement, formwork, concrete works, and structural installations.
- Ensure quality control procedures are followed for material testing, concrete pouring, and curing processes.
- Verify quantities, measurements, and work progress at site.
- Airport Infrastructure Coordination
- Coordinate structural works related to terminal buildings, control towers, utility buildings, hangars, and other airport facilities.
- Work closely with civil, electrical, and mechanical teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Project Monitoring & Reporting
- Track daily site progress and prepare site reports, inspection reports, and progress updates.
- Identify structural issues and recommend corrective measures.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with project standards.
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with construction safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Implement safety procedures and monitor safe working practices at site.
