Role Summary
This is a hands-on Lead DevOps role focused on supporting high-priority development initiatives across enterprise web and SaaS platforms, including CMS, LMS, community portals, CRM integrations and more. You will be responsible for defining CI/CD standards, deployment practices, and integration frameworks while ensuring platform reliability across both vendor-managed and internally developed applications.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline & Automation: Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar) and define global build, release, and rollback strategies.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Lead infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation or similar.
Platform Integration: Support secure integrations between enterprise platforms using REST APIs, webhooks, and authentication protocols.
Security & Quality Governance: Implement automated "Shift Left" practices, including
Static Analysis & Security – Ex. SonarQube, Snyk, Checkmarx, and OWASP ZAP.
Governance: Define deployment approval workflows and Git-based release management.
Observability: Establish centralized monitoring and logging using stacks such as Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, ELK, or Prometheus/Grafana.
Operational Excellence: Lead incident investigations, drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and collaborate with external vendors (e.g., Acquia) on upgrades and patch deployments.
Required Qualifications
8 - 10 years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Release Engineering.
CI/CD Mastery: Proven track record of designing complex pipelines in enterprise environments.
Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on expertise with IaC (Terraform)
Integration Security: Deep understanding of connecting third-party SaaS platforms via secure APIs and SSO mechanisms.
Tooling Proficiency: Experience with artifact management (Nexus/Artifactory) and automated security scanning tools.
Analytical Mindset: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform production RCAs and manage complex rollbacks.
Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and operationalize new platforms within a hybrid vendor/internal ecosystem.
