This position is part of our Early Career program at WD. Our Early Career program is designed to support individuals beginning their professional career by providing the foundational training through a structured onboarding, mentorship, and development curriculum.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform technical support activities related to operations using engineering approaches to achieve organizational goals and effectively respond to work requests in terms of productivity, quality, and cost.
- Develop tools and equipment to improve product quality and reduce costs.
- Supervise engineers and technicians to ensure tasks are accomplished in the most effective and efficient manner.
- Coordinate with other departments, including overseas organizations, regarding technical issues related to operational support.
- Develop subordinates’ performance through proper training, coaching, and supervision.
- Establish appropriate performance reports and carry out related assignments as required.
- Release, revise, and update process instructions as necessary.
- Monitor manufacturing quality, implement improvements, and lead problem-solving activities.
- Provide advice and guidance to enhance team performance in alignment with section goals through structured training and supervision.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
