Programme Change Control Lead | Defence & Infrastructure

Be part of a high-impact, client-side Project Controls Team that is working on a nationally significant Defence project in Adelaide. This team plays a critical role in shaping strategic delivery outcomes across a transformative portfolio. As part of the Project Controls leadership team, you’ll be at the forefront of driving excellence in programme assurance, change control and capability uplift.

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Programme Change Control Lead to take ownership of the change control function across a multi-programme environment. This is a leadership role with real influence, offering the opportunity to shape how change is managed across major programmes of work. 

In this role, you will:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end change control process across the programme, including tracking, reporting and analysis of variations and emerging trends.
• Provide strategic insights to the client by identifying key risks, opportunities and impacts arising from change activity.
• Coordinate integrated baseline management exercises throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Build and lead a high-performing team to assess all programme change/variation requests, ensuring timely and robust impact assessments across cost, schedule and risk.
• Develop internal capability through training, coaching and recruitment of subject matter experts.
• Collaborate closely with Project Directors, Sponsors, Commercial and Finance teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Support the delivery of programme controls maturity and efficiency improvements.
