Role Summary
As a Cost Manager for Commercial & Banking Fit鈥慜ut Projects, you will manage the full spectrum of cost management activities across branch upgrades, corporate office fit鈥憃uts, and banking environment refurbishments. You will support cost planning, tender management, commercial reporting, and post鈥慶ontract cost control to ensure projects are delivered within budget and aligned with client requirements.
Project Support & Coordination
- Demonstrate strong understanding of pre鈥慶ontract and post鈥慶ontract cost management processes for fit鈥憃ut and interior projects.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and detailed cost plans for banking branches, office fit鈥憃uts, and refurbishment works.
- Support tendering and procurement activities including preparing tender documentation, evaluating bids, reviewing commercial submissions, and compiling contract documents.
- Assist in monitoring project costs, managing variations, and supporting change control procedures.
- Coordinate closely with design teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment on project scope, materials, and finishes.
Governance & Reporting
- Prepare monthly post鈥慶ontract cost reports and support client presentations.
- Assist in value engineering and cost鈥憇aving initiatives related to materials, specifications, and construction methods.
- Maintain accurate cost records, cashflow tracking, and documentation throughout the project.
- Support compliance with internal governance processes and ensure all cost鈥憆elated decisions are properly documented.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across projects.
