Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager โ MEP to lead end-to-end Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing works for hospitality projects. The candidate must have successfully completed at least one hotel project from design stage to final handover, including authority approvals, execution, testing & commissioning, and client handover. The role involves managing consultants, contractors, vendors, and site teams while ensuring quality, safety, and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Execution & Coordination
- Lead complete MEP execution at site including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV and BMS systems
- Review drawings and coordinate with architects, structural, interior and kitchen consultants
- Conduct design coordination meetings and resolve site clashes
- Monitor daily site activities and ensure work as per approved drawings and specifications
- Prepare and track MEP schedules aligned with overall project timelines
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
- Coordinate with MEP consultants for drawing approvals and revisions
- Ensure compliance with NBC, IS codes, hotel brand standards and local authority regulations
- Liaison and obtain approvals from Electrical Inspectorate / DISCOM / Fire Department / Local Authorities
- Manage documentation and inspections required for energization and occupancy
- Coordinate HT/LT panels, transformer, DG, earthing and statutory testing approvals
- Plan and execute pre-commissioning and commissioning of all MEP systems
- Conduct testing of HVAC systems (air balancing, water balancing), fire alarm, sprinkler, electrical panels, UPS, DG and pumps
- Coordinate third-party inspections and certification
- Ensure system integration and operational readiness before handover
- Implement QA/QC procedures and inspection checklists
- Ensure installation as per approved method statements and standards
- Monitor safety practices, toolbox talks and compliance with site HSE requirements
- Close NCRs and punch points in coordination with consultants
- Review BOQ and technical specifications during procurement
- Evaluate vendors and subcontractors technically
- Track material delivery and site consumption
- Prepare snag list, punch list and closure before handover
- Ensure submission of as-built drawings, O&M manuals and warranties
- Support client and facility team during trial run and initial operations
