Conduct a Budget estimate to support a feasibility study, using parametric cost analysis.
Reviewing designs at various stages (Concept, SD, DD & IFC), and preparing quantity take-offs and develop a quantified BOQ Cost Breakdown structure.
Preparing a cost estimate report with all the necessary qualifications and present the results to various stakeholders including but not limited to the Client.
Managing the procurement process, implementing procurement, and contracting strategies and participate in negotiations ensuring that all stages including pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis, perform bid evaluations and cost negotiations selection and contract preparation are performed effectively and RFPs revisions and evaluation
Verify that change control processes are managed effectively, documenting any changes in design, assessing / calculating the value of the change order, negotiating the true value with the GC's and processing the Change order under the Client specific portal for approval and budget adjustment.
Ensure that the General Contractor's & Subcontractor鈥檚 (where applicable) payment applications are aligned and presented in accordance with the contract requirements.
Review, evaluate and recommend the interim payments based on the executed progress completed, ensure all substantiation is aligned with the contract conditions and payments are recommended within the stipulated timeframes.
Review, evaluate, negotiate and recommend the final commercial account closeout, ensuring all works are completed and the substantial completion is approved by the Engineer / Project Manager / Client. All relevant requirements of the Contract should be reviewed in parallel to ensure the final account is in compliance.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders and internal peers / managers. Taking lead on client & stakeholder interfacing, the candidate must be competent & confident in reporting & presenting all commercial aspects of the project.
Preparing the monthly cost report and presenting all project's commercial aspects such as, CO reviews / statuses, commercial progress, budget forecasts, risk assessments, etc, to key stakeholders / Client鈥檚.
Chair weekly / bi-weekly commercial meetings with key stakeholders / Client's, reviewing all commercial aspect to the project with a focus on commercial & unforeseen risks and commercial progress.
Ensuring that key project information and lessons learnt collected from each commission is reviewed and processed through Turner & Townsends internal database.

If applicable, managing the commission, by ensuring margin levels are achieved, T&T invoices are prepared and issued within the required timeframes, commission resources are aligned with the SOW and our internal commission delivery portal is continuously updated.
If applicable, leading a cost management team, ensuring that the team is trained and guided in delivering all scope listed above. We expect the candidate to lead by example, and only delegate scope aligned with their capabilities and to enhance the team members professional growth.
Depending on the circumstance, commuting to the office & / or to site, if or when required. If role is site based, the candidate will be required to be full time at site.
