Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to join our team to support scheduling as a project controls function on a large-scale project. The ideal individual will have a proven track record of successfully delivering construction project control services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive integrated master schedules for data center projects from pre-construction through construction hand-off.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement, cost managers, and trade partners to gather input, validate sequencing, and ensure schedule feasibility.
- Create and update multiple schedules for a variety of potential scopes for any given project, until lease signing.
- Conduct detailed schedule analysis to identify potential risks, delays, and opportunities for acceleration or optimization.
- Proactively implement recovery strategies and mitigation plans to maintain project milestones and contractual obligations.
- Facilitate and lead schedule review meetings, presenting updates, forecasts, and critical path analyses to internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project health, progress trends, and forecasting accuracy.
- Integrate subcontractor and vendor schedules into the master project schedule, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
- Support project controls functions including progress measurement, earned value analysis, and delay impact assessments.
- Provide schedule input for change orders, scope modifications, and claims analysis, ensuring accurate documentation and justification.
- Help establish and ensure adherence to client’s scheduling standards, tools, and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist client with transition from Microsoft Project to P6 EPPM scheduling tools.
- Support a dynamic and flexible client team that is on the cutting edge of data center development.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
