We are seeking a skilled and proactive Bid Writer to play a key role within our Major Bids Team. Working closely with Bid Directors, Bid Managers, subject matter experts, and the wider business, this role is critical to support Turner & Townsendâs strategic growth through the development of highâquality, compelling bid submissions. The Major Bids Team works on our largest, complex, multi-disciplinary bids in areas of strategic growth.
The Bid Writer will contribute to major bids by shaping clear, persuasive written responses and ensuring our value proposition is articulated effectively. Key responsibilities include supporting content planning, developing written responses, ensuring consistency across submissions, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our bid library. The role will also involve analysing previous bids, identifying highâscoring content, and supporting the development of inâhouse writing guidance and best practice. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to quickly interpret complex bid requirements, support effective bid planning, and translate technical information into coherent, clientâfocused narrative. They will work collaboratively across the business to gather insights, identify best practice, and ensure submissions reflect innovation, evidence, and client drivers.
