We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team on a 6āmonth partātime contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll for approximately 1,000 employees with a high degree of accuracy
- Manage the payroll inbox and respond to employee queries in a timely manner
- Prepare and submit monthly superannuation contributions
- Support payroll tax preparation for review
- Ensure SOX compliance and assist with internal audits
- Work collaboratively with HR and Finance teams to support seamless operations
- Maintain and update employee payroll records
- Conduct leave audits and handle adāhoc payroll tasks
- Assist with payroll reporting and special projects
- Create and maintain spreadsheets and reports using Excel
