As a Data Modeller, you will design and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models across systems and domains for a programme. You will ensure data structures are consistent, scalable and aligned with business needs, governance standards and the wider enterprise architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Data Modelling & Design
- Develop and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models aligned to programme requirements and the enterprise data architecture.
- Apply appropriate modelling approaches such as relational, dimensional or Data Vault.
Standards & Governance
- Define and uphold modelling standards, conventions and documentation.
- Contribute to the enterprise data model, data dictionary and business glossary.
- Support master data management by identifying key entities and relationships.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work with data architects, engineers, analysts and SMEs to ensure models translate business concepts into implementable designs.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide input into design reviews and sprint planning.
Data Quality & Assurance
- Support data quality by identifying structural issues and ensuring model-level lineage is captured.
- Review modelling artefacts from suppliers to ensure alignment with programme standards.
