Turner & Townsend Heery are seeking an experienced Project Manager โ Airports / Aviation to support our major aviation clients. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have excellent communication skills, be able to take the initiative and drive activities with limited supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design process for aviation-related capital projects, ensuring alignment with program goals, airport standards, and stakeholder expectations.
- Design Management to oversee and coordinate the work of internal and external design teams, including architects, engineers, and consultants, to ensure cohesive and high-quality design outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with airport authorities, airline representatives, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders throughout all project phases to gather input, present design concepts, and secure approvals.
- Program integration to ensure architectural design solutions are fully integrated with broader capital improvement program objectives, including operational efficiency, passenger experience, and sustainability goals.
- Regulatory Compliance to ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, ADA requirements, and airport-specific design guidelines.
- Manage the preparation and quality control of design documentation deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and presentation materials.
- Project coordination with project managers, construction teams, and consultants to align design intent with budget, schedule, and constructability considerations.
- Lead internal and external design reviews, ensuring adherence to quality standards and design excellence throughout all phases.
- Change management to evaluate and manage design changes, ensuring impacts to scope, cost, and schedule are clearly communicated and documented.
- Identifying opportunities to improve Project Management procedures, templates and products referring ideas to the appropriate line manager.
- Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout project.
- General line management responsibilities (where appropriate) are effectively discharged.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
