Altum Health is currently seeking a PHYSIOTHERAPY/OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT to join our Toronto team! As an integral member of Altum Health’s clinical team, the Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for providing support to the clinicians and clinical services/facilities, under the assignment and delegation of the regulated health care professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring all clinical areas are safe, clean, maintained and stocked with appropriate supplies at all times
• Supervising clients during their treatment activities under therapist supervision and ensuring clients perform prescribed activities in an appropriate and safe manner
• Maintaining communication with supervising therapist regarding patient progress
• Using modalities as prescribed by the physiotherapist/occupational therapist.
• Providing administrative support as required which may include:
  • Maintaining accurate and timely data regarding tracking of clinical visits, maintaining therapist schedules, facilitating supply and small equipment purchases, performing data entry to capture clinical visits and activities, and other support activities
  • Performing cross-functional and/or other administrative duties as needed which will ensure that the program functions efficiently daily
