Python Developer – Banking Domain with ML/AI Expertise

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong banking domain knowledge and hands-on experience in machine learning / AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and tools using Python.
- Develop data pipelines for ML/AI models, including feature engineering & preprocessing.
- Collaborate with data scientists on deploying ML/AI models into production.
- Integrate with banking systems, payment platforms, and financial messaging
- Build secure, high-performance APIs and microservices.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, security, and data governance standards.
- Optimize existing services for scalability and performance.
- Write clean, testable, well‑documented code.
- Participate in architecture design, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong Python proficiency (Flask, FastAPI, Django or similar).
- Solid experience in banking or financial services (payments, transaction flows, AML/FCP use cases, or similar).
- Understanding of Swift MT/MX, SEPA, ISO20022, or financial messaging frameworks.
- Experience with ML/AI pipelines, model serving, and MLOps concepts.
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps tooling, and test automation.
