The Data Architect (m/f/x) is responsible for architecting, standardising, and evolving Tipico鈥檚 data warehouse and solutions. Much like a midfield maestro, you will define the perfect data models, ETL/ELT frameworks, and pipelines鈥攖he strategic formations鈥攖hat power all our analytics, reporting, and data science plays. You bridge the gap between business and tech, ensuring every data "pass" is perfectly mapped from source to analytical need, guaranteeing consistency, scalability, and technical quality across all data solutions in collaboration with our engineering teams.
Your playing field:
- Design and maintain the high-performance architecture of our enterprise data warehouse and solutions, ensuring peak scalability, blistering speed, and easy maintainability.
- Own and govern the conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensuring every structure aligns perfectly with our business goals and analytical demands.
- Define the blueprint for our ETL/ELT frameworks, guiding the implementation of efficient, reusable, and rock-solid data pipelines鈥攆or both batch processing and real-time insights.
- Act as the technical cornerstone, empowering multiple data engineering squads (internal and external) to build standardised, high-quality, and efficient solutions.
- Expertly translate complex business and analytical needs into technical data models and architecture components, mapping the entire data flow from source system kick-off to final consumption.
- Work as a crucial team player with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Analytics, and Data Science teams to guarantee technical designs are a perfect match for project goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Data Architect to ensure all local data solutions seamlessly adhere to the wider enterprise strategy and standards.
- Champion data governance, ensuring the consistency, security, and top-tier quality of our most valuable data assets.
- Continuously evaluate emerging data technologies and best practices to dramatically enhance our solution design and engineering efficiency.
