Role purpose:
Support trialing activities by applying agronomic knowledge and data expertise to collect, check and store phenotyping data, contributing to informed decision-making in plant breeding and product positioning. The position is covering mostly Central and/or North-East Bulgaria.
Role responsibilities:
- Provide options for suitable trial locations & fields and ensure proper maintenance of the trials
- Help field agronomist(s) with the sowing and harvest operations and the collect of samples for analysis
- Capture GPS coordinates and sowing dates, collect phenotyping data, and record harvest data accurately
- Submit and manage data (planting data, soil analysis data, phenotyping data, harvest data, and quality trait data) by storing it in the right tools, and conduct data quality checks, identifying outliers, and taking corrective measures
- Provide raw data to officials as required
