Hands-on experience with control systems for air compressor, boilers, HVAC and packaging equipment.
Experience in low voltage power distribution, circuit protection and fuse replacement.
Experience in installation, setup and maintenance of control equipment including flow switches/meters, photo eyes, proximity switches, level transmitters/switches, DP cells, pressure and temperature transmitters.
Maintains function and reliability of production and facility systems and associated equipment by executing a preventive maintenance program; Inspects electrical and automation systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
Able to install EMT and rigid conduit.
Performs preventive/corrective maintenance and investigates problems with mechanical equipment including gear boxes, gear pumps, rotary air locks, bagging machines, conveyor systems, heat exchangers, etc., following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, rigging, and hand/power tools
Provides feedback on equipment condition while performing preventive maintenance activities.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
