BUDGET MANAGEMENT
Manage the Off-Premise Trade Budget for Red Bull鈥檚 Convenience channel, supporting accounts such as 7-Eleven, Circle K, QuikTrip, Wawa, and others.
Contribute to the accuracy of business plans and revised estimates, providing clear explanations for significant variances. Conduct monthly FP&A tasks, including month-end close and volume/rate/mix analysis.
Distribute financial information (both planned and actual) to budget owners through report sharing, system access, and monthly review meetings with sales teams.
Promote operational efficiency by minimizing time spent on report generation and prioritizing deeper analysis, commentary, and insights sharing.
Facilitate impactful budget meetings by introducing innovative ideas and relevant insights, asking strategic questions, and focusing on solution-driven discussions.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams by maintaining a comprehensive understanding of plans and communicating risks and opportunities promptly.
Manage CPM (CRM system) accruals and ensure planning accuracy for Convenience accounts. Verify the accuracy of both prior and current year accruals.
Perform value chain analyses for existing and potential new retailers to aid strategic decision-making and mitigate exposure risks within the Convenience channel.
Deliver thorough spend analyses and propose solutions to enhance business efficiency.
Build strong relationships with budget holders based on mutual respect and trust while providing constructive challenges when necessary.
PRICE AND PROMOTION GUIDANCE
Will oversee guidance and ensure compliance with Red Bull North America's pricing guidelines within the convenience channel. This individual will utilize syndicated data and retailer sources to monitor market prices, identify anomalies, and provide clear, detailed reporting on outliers.
Conduct regular profitability analyses for promotional activities, assessing metrics such as sales lift, brand impact, and return on investment (ROI).
Demonstrates familiarity with Circana metrics, including Dollar Sales, Volume Sales, Base Volume, Incremental Volume, and Promotional Lift.
Capable of creating PowerPoint presentations and delivering actionable insights to finance and cross-functional teams.
Possesses the expertise to measure return on investment across various tactics, including price reductions, coupons, and temporary distribution gains.
