Project Support Focus
Leads and drives project planning activities for IT-related initiatives, ensuring clear scope, timelines and resource needs.
Supports local IT and/or business projects by owning and delivering defined work packages.
Assists the IT Manager with IT budget planning related to project delivery and associated purchasing.
Takes ownership of assigned initiatives, applying global and area-specific project management methodologies.
Coordinates external vendors and partners (e.g. MDM, digital signage, AV providers) to ensure effective delivery of services and solutions.
Ensures all local IT services are properly documented and maintained, including user information, onboarding and training materials, and IT documentation.
Provides project support across key areas such as equipment lifecycle, local events, Event and conference IT Support, HQ pilot projects and local tenders (e.g. AV solutions, mobile phones).
Coordinates IT aspects of event support, advising on appropriate team resource allocation and ensuring technical readiness.
IT Onboarding/ Offboarding (Users and assets)
Collaborates on improvements, simplification ideas and known limitations within onboarding and offboarding processes and tools, ensuring alignment with the IT Area team.
Ensures a professional end鈥憉ser IT onboarding and offboarding experience, leveraging and contributing to global standards.
Drives uptake/or delivers IT security training and practical end鈥憉ser IT service trainings to support a secure and productive start for employees.
Supports local end鈥憉ser account, access and permission administration for relevant services.
Maintains an up-to-date asset inventory and manages the UK asset warehouse, covering purchasing, enrolling, deployment and offboarding of devices.
IT Workplace and Infrastructure Tasks
Supports end鈥憉ser device rollouts and maintains the full device lifecycle (e.g. replacements for notebooks, mobile devices and peripheral hardware).
Acts as the AV workplace specialist, ensuring meeting rooms and collaboration spaces鈥攊ncluding video conferencing and presentation systems鈥攁re standardised, reliable, and aligned with global guidelines. Provides hands-on support for meetings and events, including AV setup, testing, troubleshooting, and ownership of meeting room testing to ensure a seamless user experience
Supports the management of local office infrastructure across its lifecycle (e.g. printers, meeting room equipment including AV and video conferencing devices, office access control, CCTV, etc.).
Supports the existing equipment purchase process in line with standards (e.g. approved vendors, part numbers) for both IT and AV equipment, and coordinates the RMA process for client computing, AV devices and/or backend hardware components.
