As one of our HVAC Design Engineer, you will become part of our Global Datacenter team, collaborating with domain experts specializing in Data Center Design, & Commissioning globally.
In your role, you will work on projects from India and other geographies. Based out of any of the regional offices, travel will be expected on occasion, to fulfil the needs of the projects you will be working on.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
Excellent communication skills to lead client interactions on solutions and presentation skills and negotiations skills.
Capable to Design HVAC solution for Data Centers having Data Halls of 4 MW IT load and above
Capable of Designing HVAC solution for Data Centers with Liquid Cooling and Conventional cooling and mix.
Capable of Designing District cooling solution with Thermal Storage of high capacity total say 20000 tones and above
Prepare HVAC Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and Schemes.
Prepare HVAC layouts, Piping, Duct layouts, and Equipment layouts.
Perform Heat gain/loss, Pipe & Duct sizing calculations.
Assist the Team Lead with quantity take-offs, schedules, and other documentation.
Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for HVAC low-side works and good knowledge of prevailing long lead item products and solutions.
Develop HVAC layouts and perform MEP Coordination in Revit LOD 400.
Be responsible for the quality assurance and output quality of your work
Understanding of air cooled, liquid cooled data center technologies.
Design of Fire suppression systems and HSD yard would be an added advantage.

Mandatory Skills:
Excellent communication skills to be able to present, discuss, negotiate with clients during design finalizations.
Proficiency in design experience of Data Center Cooling Solutions (Air Cooling, Liquid cooling, Fire Safety, Fuel storage)
Strong knowledge of HVAC design for Hyperscale Data Centers.
Knowledge of Uptime Tier requirements.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Proficiency in the latest version of Revit software.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills to be able to present, discuss, negotiate with clients during design finalizations.
Attention to detail and pride in work quality.
Flexible attitude to meet frequently changing deadlines.
Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Ability to support Junior engineers.
